Elliot Diaz grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and enlisted in the Army when he was 18 years old. He completed two tours in Iraq and served with the 18th Airborne Corps, the 82nd Airborne Division, the Security Assistance Team Management Organization, and the Joint Special Operations Command. After being called to full-time ministry in 2005, Elliot completed his Master of Arts and Religion at Liberty University, leaving active duty military service in 2012.
Elliot’s passion to help people pursue spiritual health and reach their next level led him to serve with Manna Church as a worship leader, small group leader, and then Small Groups Pastor in 2013. Since 2018, he additionally began serving as the Executive Place Site Pastor. Elliot is also a Chaplain in the North Carolina National Guard.
In his free time, Elliot enjoys sports and obstacle course racing -- though his body doesn’t want him to do it more than once a year. He also loves vacationing with his family in the Smoky Mountains and family movie nights. Elliot and his wife Jessica have been married for nine years and live in Fayetteville, North Carolina, with their three children, Josiah, Isabel, and Felicity.
