Jeff joined the Manna staff in December of 1999, working as a janitor and attending Grace College of Divinity to prepare for full-time ministry. In the fall of 2004, Jeff married his sweetheart Emily and also stepped into a pastoral role at Manna, focusing on counseling and pastoral care for five and a half years until shifting his focus to small groups as a Connections Pastor with the launch of the Hope Mills Site. In April of 2012, Jeff took over as the Site Pastor for Hope Mills and has been enjoying and growing in that role since. He received his Bachelor’s of Divinity from Grace College of Divinity in 2006 and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
Along with pastoring, Jeff is also involved as a teaching assistant at Grace College of Divinity and has taught many of the theology courses there. He has a passion for theology and evangelical engagement in scholarship. Along with his love for academics, Jeff enjoys subculture music, philosophy, and Nebraska Cornhusker football. Jeff and Emily have three children: Rhys, Eleanor, and Thomas.
