C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, and other Christian writers would meet regularly at "The Eagle and Child" pub in Oxford, England, in the 1930s and 1940s to discuss theology, philosophy, and the intersection of faith, current events, and the modern world. Our group, "The Eagle and Child" will meet at 8 PM weekly to fellowship and discuss similar topics. "The Eagle and Child" will meet at various homes around town, though the primary location is the Barrington home in Fayetteville. The group is open to men over the age of 18 who are not offended by pipe or cigar smoke. Contact Adam Barrington or Jason Canady for more information or to be added to the email distribution list.
