Central Hospitality is responsible for keeping buildings in clean and orderly condition; performing heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, removing rubbish; and prepping for events and Small Group gatherings.
Description
Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming them
Gather and empty trash
Service, clean and supply restrooms
Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
Clean windows, partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees
Dust furniture, walls, machines and equipment
Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications
Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
Keep clean and organize all supplies in janitorial closets
Coordinate with first shift Hospitality worker as it pertains to maintaining all stock of janitorial supplies as well as proper working of all equipment
Inform Facilities Manager of any building-related repairs that need to be performed
Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created
Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks
Set up, arrange and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders and scaffolding to prepare facilities for worship experiences and Small Group meetings
Provide plus one customer service while hosting Small Groups as scheduled while maximizing time to complete cleaning responsibilities
If working at Cliffdale Site, carry and answer the Hospitality phone
Show flexibility regarding filing in for other shifts across all Fayetteville/Ft. Bragg sites as needed
